Business tools

The software is free.

An online store, bookings and your books, all on the same balance as your payments. No monthly fee and no apps to buy. You pay the card rate on what customers pay.

  • No monthly fee
  • No commission
  • One balance
An example order in a Tuppence Store: a linen tote added to the cart, paid at checkout, and the order arriving in the dashboard to pack.

A client, Sam, books a cut and finish with Ana at Brightwell Studio on their phone: they choose the service ($45.00), pick 11:00 on Tuesday 13 October, accept the studio’s booking policy and pay a $10.00 deposit by card. On the studio’s iPad, the Tuppence app’s Bookings tab shows the time as being booked while Sam pays, then the new booking in Ana’s column, with a notification: Sam booked Cut & finish.

A client books and pays a deposit on their phone, and the booking lands in the business’s calendar.

Questions

Business tools, answered.

Is the software really free?

Yes. There’s no monthly fee and no commission. You pay the card rate on what customers pay by card, as you would on any Tuppence payment. A few extras cost what they cost us, such as texted reminders and shipping labels.

Can I use one tool on its own?

Yes. Switch on only what you need in your dashboard. Each tool still pays into the same balance, so turning on another later needs no new account.

Can I bring my shop or bookings across?

Yes. The store imports your catalogue from another platform, and keeps your old links working with redirects. Moving from Shopify.
