Online payments

Take cards online, three ways.

Send a link. Put a pay page in front of your checkout. Bill on a schedule. However your customers pay, it’s one balance, one payout and one price: from 0.79% per card payment in the UK.

Everything around the payment

The same toolkit, whichever way you’re paid.

Every payment — from a link, a pay page or a renewal — shows up in the same feed, pays out on the same schedule and can be refunded the same way.

Payouts

T+3 settlement (T+7 in your first week), T+1 on request. Standard payouts are free and unlimited; instant payout of your pending balance is 0.99%.

Refunds

Full or partial, from the dashboard, the API or the iPhone app. Your customer gets the full amount back; the processing fee isn’t returned.

Disputes

Evidence drafted from the payment’s own history for you to review and submit. A £15 fee applies only if the dispute goes against you.

Webhooks and events

Signed events for every change, retried for three days, with a test send and a delivery log.

Receipts and statements

Receipt emails and pages for your customers; monthly statements as CSV or PDF and daily reports for you.

Customers

Search your customers and see what each has paid, refunded and disputed over their lifetime.

Security

Card numbers never touch our servers.

Cards are entered into Stripe and stay with Stripe. What we hold — your keys, your team, your events — is locked down like the money it moves.

How we keep it safe

Stripe holds the cards

Payments run on Stripe. Card numbers, CVCs and PINs never reach Tuppence, our logs or our SDKs.

Keys you can scope

Restricted keys with only the permissions they need, IP allowlists, and an alert if a key leaks.

People sign in properly

Two-factor sign-in, roles for your team, and Face ID before a refund in the app.

Everything on the record

An audit log of who did what, 30 days of request logs with secrets redacted, and signed webhooks.
